THE THRILL-SEEKERS 3 – Never Volunteer Information

Pastor’s got his man and he’s got him talking.

This is the first time we’ve had a really good look at Pastor, so I really wanted to make a nice portrait-style image that would pop out of the panel.

The look of the strip keeps evolving.  I’m studying a lot of Al Williamson, and trying to balance out how I compose the dark areas vs. the negative space.  I’m getting happier with my inking, and I’m enjoying the learning process.

By the way, from my Mac, the strips look pretty clean, but from other monitors, they can seem a little muddy.  Let me know what sort of resolution you guys are getting on the strips so I can fine-tune my scans.

  1. Doug G. says:

    “All ears, baby!” Dig it.

  2. Looks good Jay. The first panel really harkens back to the Williamson and Goodwin run on Secret Agenet Corrigan. I see you did this has a gif file and the previous 2 has jpg files. Is there any advantage of one over the other?

  3. Guess Who says:

Wouldn’t you spill your guts if that man’s fist was raised in your face?

  4. Yeah, blame the monitors. My PC looks pretty clean, baby!
