Welcome back, everyone!
I decided to switch things up a little this week by tweaking my usual format. I had a little more set-up than would neatly fit into a single-tier, three-panel strip, so I went for an expanded two-tiered strip this week. I also thought I was a little off my game last week, so I wanted to offer you fine readers a little more to make up for it. I wanted to establish who The Duke is, and how he fits into the bigger picture, but still, last week’s strip, The Duke, is the only one to date that felt a little like padding to me. No matter how much I worked it, I couldn’t get the dialogue to crackle quite like I wanted. I think this week’s strip moves things along a little better. Thanks for dropping by, and I’ll see you on Friday!

Interesting switch on the format. I noticed right away. And, excellent job on the bedroom scene.
Guess Who?-
I had too much for one of my traditional strips and not enough for two, hence the compromise.
By the way, I just realized that Monday marked the four month anniversary of WORLDOFHURTONLINE.COM. Woo hoo!

Whoa!
This is why you’re known as NEXT 100, man!
I’m truly lovin’ it — BRAVO!
Terrence’s Little Brother;)
Nice! There’s something I really like about the composition of that last panel.
Cool! Like the format.
Guess who-
When your talking about his excellent work on the bedroom scene you are talking about the comic ?
This is like the Sunday comics version…
Oh-and Pastor’s apparently a southpaw.
Don’t get TOO used to the larger format, y’all, although it was fun to try something new!
Rodbuddah-
Gracias! However, Pastor’s really about to make it hard out there for a pimp.
Doug G.-
I was worried that the .38 got lost in Carmen’s hair, so I’m glad it was successful.
TPM-
No. No, she’s not.
Ramon-
I was a little inspired by DC Comics’ new series, Wednesday Comics, which uses a larger, Sunday comic page format. Plus, I thought about the southpaw thing when I was drawing it. That Pastor knocked Ray out with a jab back in Episode 6 is a testament to his power.

I really enjoyed this one.
Njeri-
Coming from a writer, that really means a lot to me. Thanks!

Good stuff as always.
Always good to hear from you, Parker! Thanks for the kind words.
Next week’s strip is a big departure from this one (and sort of the polar opposite), but I’m kinda jazzed about it.
