Welcome back to the latest installment. It’s been a long time coming, but I promise you one thing in the next strip: PAIN.
I’d like to do a little housecleaning here with a couple items:
1. First, I’d like to welcome all the folks coming over from the webcomic, The Princess Planet. The strip’s creator, Brian McLachlan, was kind enough to include a link to WORLD OF HURT last week and I noticed the spike in traffic over the weekend. Thanks, Brian! Also, for my regular readers, be sure to reciprocate the favor. The Princess Planet is a fun, pun-laden, all-ages romp that solidifies Transmission-X as the best, and most diverse, webcomic collective out there.
2. I’d like to send a get-well wish to WORLD OF HURT regular, Doug G. He pulled a Steven Tyler and took a nasty spill over the weekend and banged himself up pretty good.
3. Finally, if you’re in the market for an illustrator or comic artist for your project, I’d urge you to check out Anthony Summey’s site at The Pirate Musketeer.

It’s been a long day and I’m about to turn out the lights. Then I remember it’s Wednesday and I have yet to check in on Pastor. A nice end to an otherwise hectic day. Looking forward to the “PAIN”.
Nice one! If anybody was unclear Duke’s a nasty dude, that first panel should clear it right up for ‘em.
And thanks for the well wishes — I’m hobblin’ right along and hope to be back to stage-diving into non-existent crowds soon.
Great stuff, met in you Camden a couple of weeks ago. Hope you remember me.Keep up the good work.
I appreciate you checking out the site, and thanks for the kind words, Goncalo. Of course I remember you at the office, since it’s so rare to have a reasonable conversation with someone when Wally is in the room.

You know, you really don’t think of a week being a long time until you’re waiting for something. On top of tv shows, this comic strip is up there. Really enjoying it.
Brotha-Man,
It’s good to know you’re out there, Brotha-Man (Are you on the fif’ floor, by chance?)
Honestly, I felt like I had an off-week this week, but I’ll try to keep pumping out the good stuff. Comments from the readers really make my day, so I really appreciate you taking the time to drop me a line.
I’ve got an “Off-Topic Monday” feature in the queue for Monday, so make sure you drop by then, too.

(Heh, fif floor. Nah but Earth, Wind and Fire ask what ever happend to me.) It is the duty of those who enjoy reading something to show appreciation to the creator. So if all I gotta do is leave a comment that doesn’t take no longer then a few minutes or less than easily done.
Again thanks for having this comic strip up and running.
