We’ve all come to know and despise The Duke over time, so in this strip, I wanted to put you in Pastor’s point-of-view when he gets his hands on the pimp.
Yesterday was the six-month anniversary of WORLD OF HURT! The only one not celebrating was The Duke. WORLDOFHURTONLINE.COM went live the on April 6th, and I started a seven-day “Countdown To A Beatdown” to launch the first strip.
I’d like to thank everyone for their support over these past six months, especially my fiancee, Noelle. I couldn’t have done this without her. The readership has grown steadily over time, and I’ve learned a lot, too. Thanks for sticking by me and making this so much fun for me.

Somehow, as Duke’s greed and depravity was revealed, he devolved as the strips progressed until he became “a wad of flesh.”
As far as the differing interpretations of what Pastor is doing with the drapes, all I’ll say is that Alan Moore established a strong precedent for the defenestration of beaten-up middle-aged men in bathrobes, but nothing’s off the table.
