“He’s one man,” is one of those phrases that usually doesn’t bode well for villains. It’s right up there with “Maybe we can cut a deal.”

Other famous and futile last words by villians include “Whatcha gonna do about it?” , “I hear a sound outside. I’m going to check it out” and “Tie him up. We’ll kill him later?”
…so it’s all over next week then?
He comes out of the kitchen with a gun and blows Pastor away
Great ’speed’ technique on the kicking foot in the first frame!!
Let me guess, Jay…another week making noises/talking to yourself at the drawing table?
How’s that look?
One man, a drawing table, strewn artwork and he’s saying, “Fuggig idiot” to himself…
…actually that sounds all too familiar?
This is just plain violent and gross. When the movie comes out, I will have to turn my head during this scene.
Getting a Dennis Farina vibe off that last panel.
The leg break in the first panel is brutal and beautiful.
Tracy-
Ooh, those are good one’s too. I figure Ned already stepped in it when he said “No one can touch us,” so I might as well push his hubris to the tipping point.

MAS-
Quit lookin’ at my scripts! That would be something if I ended it on such a dramatic twist. Hmmm….
Not only was I mumbling to myself in a congested voice, but I kept repeating it to make sure the sounds were consistent, but still intelligible.
I normally don’t use speedlines, so I’m glad it worked out.

Guess Who-
I imagine myself sitting next to you like Michael Jackson in “Thriller,” eyes glued to the screen and gleefully munching popcorn as you turn away in disgust…then I’ll do a zombie dance.

Parker-
What’s up! I was really pleased with the Ned’s body language in that panel, and it was a nice pay-off to his weird diction in the other two panels. Thanks!

Ohhh! If he had a machette he’d be as bad as Denzel in the Book of Eli (saw the film last weekend)
This must be the week for bad mo-fo’s cracking bones, because I watched one of my favorite Japanese-African American “I luv you man” gangster flicks on cable a few days ago. “Brother” with Beat Takeshi and Omar Epps. Oh the body count!
Jessica-
You gave me a new flick to check out. I’m always on the lookout for something new.
Thanks!

I just found you through Tracy Brady, and I think your art is awesome. You’ve definitely captured the era.
George-
Thanks for the kind words! Tracy’s been a long time supporter, and I appreciate her spreading the “gospel” of Pastor and WORLD OF HURT.
