THE THRILL-SEEKERS 62 – “He Who Laughs Last…”

THE THRILL-SEEKERS 62 – “He Who Laughs Last…”

This is the moment a lot of you were anticipating.  Pastor finally gets to use the special package he picked up from Rashid, with devastating results.

Now, I have some more good news for you.  This weekend, I’m getting married to the lovely, talented, funny, exciting, and adventuresome Noelle Phillips after nearly a decade of dating.  It’s been a wonderful trip so far, but I hope our journey together is just beginning.  One of the reasons she’s the love of my life is that she even makes the most mundane things fun.  We’re having a small ceremony  in northern Georgia with our immediate family in attendance.

So, as you’ve probably surmised, I won’t be around to check the website for the next week, but please feel free to leave comments.  I’ll enjoy catching up when I get back.  Also, in case you were worried, I already have next week’s strip lined up in the queue so I won’t leave you high and dry with an unresolved cliffhanger.

Take it easy and I’ll see you next week.

Great set up for the punchline. I really like the image of the bridge in the background. Wondering how Pastor is going to get out of this mess…

About DAMN time!!! A decade of dating and she still stuck around. It must be love or…. nah couldn’t be that. I’ll go with love. Congratulations to you and Noelle. We are so happy for you both.

    Wonderful news!
My congratulations to the both of you, and please post some pics of wedding and reception when you get a chance!

That brings up the question, what would Pastor’s wedding be like, especially with all the enemies he’s made. His poor bride would have to know Kung-fu and be a weapon’s expert to stand by her man.

  11. Ramon says:

By definition, of course, getting married is an unresolved cliffhanger…

  12. Jamaal says:

Don’t let her know you won’t let us wait 2 weeks for a new strip. You made her wait almost 10 years! Seriously though, congrats on the marriage. Its a beautiful things when people can come together and make each other happy. I hope the day is perfect for both of you.

Really nice lay-out this week Jay, everything is top drawer.
The ominous angle in the first frame, the “zoomed in” circular frame creates a great balance between the two other frames and the huge perspective on the final frame is, like you say, what we’ve all been looking out for.
Hey, isn’t Wha-Koom the starting center for the Detroit…nah? ;)

Hey congrats on the wedding, I hope you have a great weekend and are sleeping off a sizeable hangover right now. All the best to you both :)
