If you follow me on Twitter, you know I’m an unabashed liberal, but I’ve also been pretty hard on President Obama for the way he’s handled nearly every negotiation with the Republicans since he’s been in office. Nonetheless, I have to give the man credit today. Despite all the “silliness,” the “sideshow,” and the “carnival barkers” blathering on around him, under President Obama’s leadership, our intelligence community and the men and women of the United States armed forces finally brought Osama Bin Laden to justice. I’ll put on my analytical hat tomorrow, but today I’m just enjoying this measure of closure on the person who instigated our long, national nightmare. It’s been a long time coming and the retribution against the rat-bastard behind the 9/11 attacks feels so, so good!
