Welcome!  I’m the creator, writer, and artist of WORLD OF HURT.  I am paralegal by occupation and cartoonist by inclination.  I have eaten a scorpion and once captured a rattlesnake with my bare hands.  I currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina, and assure you that everything in the previous sentences is absolutely true.

I created WORLD OF HURT, the comic strip, to be a celebration of the Blaxploitation movie genre.  WORLDOFHURTONLINE.COM, the website, is a continuaton of that celebration.  I want it to be a place where I could discuss and share the full breadth of this passion with like-minded individuals.  Music, style, movies, TV shows, and later works inspired by this singular moment in pop culture, as well as my own artistic inspirations are covered in my blog.
